Description:
Meridian pairs tenderly observed and blushingly candid lyrics with thoughtfully crafted, dynamic indie rock grooves. Their songs are intimate excavations of the mundane–of stained couches, fried eggs, trips to Pennsylvania–which have made the elderly gasp and the heartbroken chuckle. Meridian was the winner of Motif Magazine’s 2023 Battle of the Bands; they’ll be releasing their debut album later this fall.
