Description: Tomaquag Museum’s Indigenous Empowerment Center supports local Native artists by providing visibility and access to statewide opportunities that strengthen their small arts businesses and help to shape the market for Northeast Indigenous art. Our artists create work inspired by their culture, community, and lifeways, while redefining what is considered “art” or “fine art” and creating space for Indigenous voices to be valued, seen and recognized.
