Visit our popup printshop to make your own custom print using mobile printing presses and antique type. No experience is needed and the activity is suitable for printers of all ages with adult assistance.
DWRI Letterpress is a commercial letterpress printshop operating in Providence, RI. The shop utilizes historic presses and a modern aesthetic to create business cards, wedding invitations, posters and fine art prints.
Dan Wood is the shop founder and specializes in hot metal typecasting. He is the creator of “The Linotype Occasionally”, a series of prints that focuses on the news, media bias and snapshots of the artist’s life.
Lois Harada is the stationery manager at DWRI. She is an artist and printmaker based in North Providence and recently completed a series of intaglio monoprints featuring shaped, copper plates that resemble rocks.
