Planeta is a multidisciplinary collective dedicated to building community resilience by creating immersive spaces of audio, visual, and tactile experiences that center queer joy and uplift QTBIPOC folks through performance, dance, art therapy, and resource distribution. Our spaces serve as intersections for culture, community, arts, and performance. We aim to challenge the baseline for what we should expect from gathering spaces by encouraging people to connect to and honor their mind, body and spirit.

Dj Sissy
Sissy Rosso is a DJ, artist, and world builder exploring the space between sound, culture, and visual art. Her sets are genre fluid and rhythm driven, moving through house, dembow, funk, soul, jazz, and global sounds with a playful ear for unexpected connections.
DJ Paige
A DJ set blending R&B, soul, funk, and house. A mix of old and new tracks to cater to different generations.
Bio: Paige Huggon is a DJ based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, with a sound rooted in R&B, soul, funk, and house. Her connection to music started early, playing instruments growing up in a big family where music was at the center of each gathering. As a DJ, she draws from that same love of music, bringing together old and new sounds across genres to create sets that keep people moving.

DJ Lady Ruck
Sharon Ashley, better known as DJ LadyRuck, is a Rhode Island–born DJ, radio personality, event curator, and influential figure in the local entertainment and hip-hop community. Inspired by her late father, a musician, LadyRuck began her career as a radio host at WRIU 90.3 FM while attending the University of Rhode Island. Her love for music soon led her to DJing, where she began rocking college parties and developing her craft.
Today, LadyRuck is a radio host on The Juice FM, Rhode Island’s first Black-owned radio station, and is the Founder and Curator of the 401 Blend Battle, now entering its 6th year. The annual competition brings talented DJs from across the region together to compete for the crown of Best Blend DJ.
Throughout her career, LadyRuck has earned numerous honors, including the 2025 Remi TV Award for Best Female DJ, the 2023 Art and Culture Excellence Award, the 2022 Providence Journal Readers’ Choice Award for Best DJ in Events & Weddings, and recognition as a Providence Phoenix Best DJ. She is also an official inductee into the Rhode Island Hip Hop Hall of Fame, a State of Rhode Island Senate Citation recipient, and the 1st RIBS Blend Champion.
With a career built on music, community, and perseverance, DJ LadyRuck continues to inspire and entertain audiences throughout Rhode Island and beyond.
