I’ll be performing songs from my most recent projects “92” and “Heart and Soul”. A mixture of hip hop, soul, and r&b sounds.

My name is Monk B. I’m from the North Side of Providence but spent a lot of my childhood on the East Side. My music is heavily Influenced by where I’m from. My most recent project “92” is inspired by the RIPTA bus which commutes from Atwells Avenue to East Side Market Place. Whether it was working at the Fox Point Boys & Girls Club or waiting on the bus stop after school writing songs, all of my experiences shaped the artist that I am today. My goal with music is to tell my story as well as inspire others to tell their own.
