Festival Runner

Runner Description:

PVDFest 2026 is seeking eager and friendly people to help keep things running smoothly on the day of the festival. Runners perform a variety of tasks, sometimes small but always important, and report to the Volunteer Coordinator and other Festival staff.

Duties may include:

• Carrying and moving items over 50lbs between festival venues and stages.
• Assisting artists performing in PVDFest 2026.
• Attending 3- 4 festival meetings with the production team.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Assisting with setup and breakdown of PVDFest.
• Responding to communications before and during the event, including e-mail, telephone, etc.
• Other duties at the discretion of the Director(s), Producer(s), Stage Mangers, and/or ACT Team.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to think on their feet, respond quickly and efficiently to requests.
• A respectful and amicable attitude towards all people involved with the festival.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Position Type: Independent Contractor

Rate: $35.00 per hour
