The What Cheer? Brigade is Providence’s premier brass band. A mobile party, What Cheer’s raucous live shows explode the relationship between performer and audience while proving that loud, fun music doesn’t require electricity. Their hectic tour schedule sometimes makes hometown appearances hard during the summer, so be sure to catch them in the street! Their sound is a tight mix of global brass traditions that is unmistakably rooted in Providence’s erstwhile tradition of louder-than-loud aggressive rock.
