#MVTHACRWD is a high-energy, three-round Hip Hop competition curated by Juan “J’Juan” Wilson Jr. and Anjel Newmann, which will take place at Alchemy throughout the summer of 2025. Each round is judged live, pushing performers to bring their best to the stage, and performers who make it past the first round are paired with a mentor for preparation and support. The winner will earn a coveted performance slot at PVDFest, along with a $1,000 prize and more.

Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Nyce Hitz is a multi-talented force in the music world — a DJ, artist, producer, and writer whose energy and versatility have taken him from local stages to international arenas. Known for his ability to move any crowd, Nyce seamlessly blends genres like Hip Hop, R&B, Gospel, International, and House, delivering dynamic sets that leave a lasting impact wherever he plays.
A student of sound since the age of 9, Nyce has spent years perfecting his craft, earning respect not only on the decks but also behind the scenes as a creator and curator of music. As a prominent radio DJ on 101.1FM WBRU in Providence, he keeps his finger on the pulse of both the underground and mainstream scenes.
In addition to holding down clubs and events all across New England, Nyce Hitz has been touring as the official DJ for Sean Kingston since 2023, spinning for massive crowds across the U.S., India, Africa, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Dubai, and beyond.
No matter where his career takes him, he proudly represents Providence — the city that shaped his sound and hustle.
