Providence Curates

The Providence Biennial advocates for art curating engaging all borders, identities, and circumstances. This “Providence Curates” podcast focuses on contemporary art’s involvement with the commemoration topic, explored by featured curators Natalie Cohen, Melaine Ferdinand-King and Joel Rosario Tapia/Chief Tureygua Taino Cay, with several Biennial-affiliated mentors.

Three concurrent exhibitions concerning commemoration, one by each curator, will be revealed in Providence in Spring, 2023. Each results from a complex set of investigations driven by diverse experiences that complicate and propel a deep dive into curating.
