PVDFest 2023 - Food Vendor Application

  • Required Licenses

    A valid RI Mobile Food Establishment (MFE) is required in order to participate in PVDFest 2023. The city requires a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of One Million Dollars naming: The City of Providence, 25 Dorrance St, Providence RI 02903
  • A valid RI Mobile Food Establishment. If RI MFE expires before September 2023, submission of renewed documents showing coverage for PVDFest 2023 dates will be required.

  • If Certificate of Insurance expires before September 2023, submission of renewed documents showing coverage for PVDFest 2023 dates will be required.

    • Fees

    • The cost to participate in PVDFest 2023 on Saturday, September 9, 2023 is $450.

      Participation on Friday, September 8, 2023 and Sunday, September 10, 2023 will be $500.

      Participation on only Friday or Sunday without participating on Saturday during PVDFest weekend will be $350 per day.

      Participation on Friday, September 8, 2023 and/or Sunday, September 10, 2023 will be initially offered to the trucks that are scheduled on Saturday for an additional $150 per day.

      Please note: there will be limited space on all three days, and you may not be scheduled on all days you select. Acceptance of application for participation will be communicated to trucks upon their placement per food vendor village curation guidelines. Payment information will be provided at that time.

    • Please read all the terms and conditions from the Providence Fire Department, RI Department of Health and the PVDFest Team. Check the box to the left to agree to abide by the terms and conditions for each respective section. I hereby warrant and confirm that the above information is, to the best of my knowledge, true and correct, and further certify that I have read all of the information provided in this application and agree with and will abide by the Terms & Conditions provided. I understand that submission of this application does not guarantee a space. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the producing partner and the City of Providence, its officers, directors, volunteers, officials, employees, and agents from and against any and all liabilities, claims, suits, and causes of action of whatever nature or type (including but not limited to causes of action based upon tort, strict liability or otherwise), and all attorney fees, costs, and expenses incidental thereto, which may arise or in any way be connected directly or indirectly, with my participation in vending at PVDFest. This indemnification is absolute, personal to me, and is not limited by the insurance coverage that the Vendor may have in place. Vendor understands that the City of Providence is under no obligation to provide insurance to cover the Vendor for loss from any cause to any of Vendor's property. By agreeing, the Vendor agrees to hold the producing partner and the City of Providence harmless for any liability or loss whatsoever.
