Join us for a conversation about the roles played by “Fringe Artists” through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. In this discussion moderated by moderated by Dr. Micah Salkind (City of Providence Department of Art, Culture + Tourism), cultural programming curators/producers Christina Bevilacqua and Janaya Kizzie (Providence Public Library), performance studies scholar Avishek Ganguly (RISD) and multi-media performer and curator Shey Rivera Ríos will consider what “fringe” means today.
