Linda Ford is an interdisciplinary artist who grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts, lived in San Francisco for 23 years, and recently relocated to Providence, RI. She received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Skowhegan Fellowship. Her work has been exhibited at venues nationally and internationally.
This performance is part of a larger body of work that explores Fly Casting as a metaphor for drawing or painting. This action can also be seen as a kind of “nature graffiti.”
